Friday, Saturday - June 20-21 - LWV Iowa State Convention in Mason City at the Historic Park Inn (Frank Lloyd Wright)

The League of Women Voters of North Iowa invites you to Mason City June 20-21, 2025 for the biennial Convention of the League of Women Voters of Iowa. There is no better place to get in good trouble right here in River City than at the iconic Historic Park Inn—the only remaining hotel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. With its bold lines and timeless vision, this space offers a fitting backdrop as we gather to honor the hard work of Mason City’s own Dr. Deborah Turner and the thousands of other League members who’ve gone before us and to plan for the work that lies ahead.
Our 2025 theme, “There’s Still Work to Do,” calls us to gather not only in recognition of what has been accomplished—but also in recognition of the continued effort needed to ensure every voice is heard and every vote counts.
Mason City, with its deep-rooted civic pride and architectural significance, is the perfect setting to inspire our collective purpose. As we convene in this historic space, we’ll ask: What challenges lie ahead? What strengths do we carry forward? And how can we continue to grow as leaders, advocates, and changemakers in our communities?
We invite every League member to be part of this energizing weekend of dialogue, learning, and planning. Let’s come together to share ideas, renew our commitment, and set bold goals for the years ahead. Our top priority is ensuring that every local League has a delegate in attendance, but know that not one of your members is going to want to miss out on the speakers and fun we have planned for Convention 2025!
We’re standing at a pivotal moment in our democracy—and THERE’S STILL WORK TO DO!
Join us in Mason City as together, we plan what’s next!
