It will include references to redistricting and recent elections. A little about Dennis: Dennis Goldford is Professor of Political Science at Drake University, teaching in the areas of political theory, constitutional law, and American politics. He received his B.A. in political science and philosophy from the University of Michigan, a Master of Letters (M. Litt.) in philosophy from the University of Oxford in England, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in political science from the University of Chicago. Prof. Goldford has written three books. He authored The American Constitution and the Debate Over Originalism, and co-authored, with retired Drake colleague Hugh Winebrenner, The Iowa Precinct Caucuses: The Making of a Media Event, 3rd ed. His most recent book is titled The Constitution of Religious Freedom: God, Politics, and the First Amendment. Prof. Goldford has served as a political analyst for KCCI-TV and for a wide variety of local, regional, national, and international print and broadcast media organizations. He is frequently invited to speak on politics and elections to business groups, clubs, and other organizations.
